How to enable search box in windows 7

To enable the search box in windows 7 follow the below steps
1) Click the Start button or press the Windows logo key and the Start menu offers the Search box.
2) Type any characters or word in the box
3) windows immediately displays a list of programs such as, Control Panel, Recent document.
